Our Roots

Every year when I was a little girl, I would take a road trip to the Eastern Sierras with my dad where we would camp, fish and explore the wonders of her granite peaks and volcanic desert basin. My father managed to ignite a fire within me that sparked my passion for the great outdoors. I was fascinated by the rocks and rivers and how they shaped the world around me. My fascination for rocks followed me into adulthood where I received my B.S. in Geology at the University of California, Berkeley.

Fast forward a few years, my love for rocks took on a whole new meaning. I was 30 weeks pregnant when my water broke with my daughter, Mila. My sweet and spirited girl was trying to enter this world 10 weeks early, so I was admitted to the hospital and put on bed rest in hopes of delaying the birth. It was during my three week stay in the hospital when coworkers of mine brought me a gift…a bag of healing crystals. Their gift resonated with me deeply. With their gesture I felt loved, supported and full of hope during a time that was very difficult for me both physically and mentally.

Today, I am sharing my love for crystals with you. It’s a love that takes many forms, and for me has had immense meaning. My hope is that the products we craft will allow you to shower yourself as well as those you care for with the same love, support, hope, inspiration and empowerment that I received when gifted my very first set of crystals.
